I have been creating crafts my whole life and really like learning any type of handicraft I can find. I was introduced to rubber stamping over twenty years ago and enjoyed the craft because it was so easy to create professional-looking cards quickly, even though I can't draw to save myself!
In January 2017 I attended an event in Pukekohe called Crafternoon and fell in love with the Stampin' Up! products so much so I became a demonstrator. I especially like using a die cutting machine because it allows me to cutout stamped images easily and I can make lots of crafts quickly without all the fussy cutting.
Now I have been able to combine two of my favourite activities—creating things and teaching. I have weekly classes in my home and go to other events to show people that creating beautiful cards and crafts is easy and rewarding.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
